Frequently Asked Questions

Do you give free estimates?

Yes, we give free estimates.

How far will you travel to do tree work?

It depends on the size of the job. It never hurts to give us a call and ask. If we can’t do it, we can probably recommend someone closer to your area.

How much do you charge to cut down a tree?

The amount varies from tree to tree. It depends on the distance of travel, size of tree, location of tree (near a structure, powerline, busy highway), and the level of difficulty in removing the tree. We always prefer to do an on-site visit at no cost to you.

After I’ve scheduled, how long until you can do my tree work?

Waiting times depend on the season. Spring and summer are our busiest times, with an average wait time of 2 to 3 weeks. If your tree is posing a hazard to people or property then we adjust our schedule to do your tree work as soon as humanly possible.

Do you rescue cats from trees?

We have rescued cats and even pet birds from trees but only as a last resort. Cats will generally come down on their own when given some time.

A bucket truck will not fit in my yard, how can you work on my tree?

We have experienced climbers who can climb your trees when our bucket trucks will not fit in your yard.

Will you accept the trees as payment?

Sorry, but we can not cut your trees for free. Lumber companies are very particular as to the species and condition of trees they accept. After factoring in our time, payroll, overhead, insurance, etc., it is not worth it.

Do you plant trees?

Yes. As ISA Certified Arborists, we can suggest suitable trees for your location and can properly plant them. *Always check for underground utility lines BEFORE digging and consider how tall and wide the tree will be when mature if powerlines or structures are near.
